Job Description

  • Conduct employment compliance audits, prepare audit reports, and provide recommendations for business improvements. Oversee the implementation of these recommendations.
  • Support the HR team on international employment issues across multiple regions, including labor disputes, investigations, separations, incentives, immigration, and more.
  • Assist with employment matters related to M&A activities and restructuring projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Review vendor agreements related to employee benefits and payroll, ensuring alignment with business needs and policies.
  • Deliver training on employment law updates and HR compliance to internal stakeholders, enhancing company-wide knowledge.
  • Collaborate with HR to create and maintain globally compliant policies, handbooks, and contracts.
  • Manage and assess external counsel on employment-related legal matters.
  • Work with team members on employment-related projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of legal requirements and employment practices across various jurisdictions.
  • Qualified in a common law jurisdiction with over 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in handling both advisory and employment disputes, with in-house experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of providing strategic legal advice that balances business needs with legal risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for business needs.
